I admire anyone you has self-restraint with a carton of ice cream. I regularly consume cartons containing 4 servings in one sitting. (Fortunately, I tend to eat naturally lower calorie ice cream, so the total is about 700 calories. But I have had my share of embarrassing moments with Ben & Jerry’s…)
And I could so go for some ice cream right now. Goat’s milk ice cream… with balsamic and strawberries… mmm.

To be honest, I didn’t eat that carton in one sitting… it’s a 2 litre carton (that’s over 4 pints). Though I have very, very fond memories of eating entire pints of ice cream (and not always that namby pamby low cal stuff either
) when I was travelling and had no access to a freezer. Now, please stop taunting me with tales of that Laloo ice cream!
It’entirely possible that seeing Sabrina solidified my desire to go to culinary school.
I can’t think of a better reason to go to culinary school. I mean, it’s Bogart! BOGART.

Oh and we haven’t been able to afford a ktichen aid either- then we got money for our anniversary and I’m telling you, you have to check out their online outlet store! I don’t know where they ship to but I was happily surprised at the discounts!
It was more of an afternoon-and-night in, but that just makes it better, right?
Somehow I doubt that outlet store would ship overseas… postage costs would kill any savings that were made, I bet!
That is my idea of heaven, altough I would replace Breakfast at Tiffany’s with Modern Family!
Modern Family is brilliant, but it doesn’t have lovely old-school romance or a beautiful rendition of Moon River at the end

The myriad little crunchy toffee balls are what make it, though in all honesty I’m not much of an ice cream person, so events like this are few and far between!
And when you come visit me, we’ll simply have to bunker down and watch all my Audrey and Marilyn Monroe DVDs
Aw. I know I could polish off ALL that ice cream in one sitting. I like Audrey Hepburn but if we swapped it for a Marilyn Monroe DVD collection (or Sondheim even!) I’d be happier still!
My problem is I get tremendously bored with ice cream, which puts a dampener on eating 2L in one sitting
I promise that if (nay, WHEN) you come to Australia and visit, I’ll put the Audrey away and we can watch my Sondheim boxset all the way through, then my DVDs of Bus Stop, Some Like it Hot, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, and How To Marry A Millionaire. Deal?
